At the end of 2011, Serge MUMBU decided to create Target. The idea rapidly took shape. Then he will surround himself with enthusiastic young people who worked with him for about ten years. Target main shareholder, Serge MUMBU holds a degree in Business Administration, option marketing from Université Protestante au Congo.
In 1999, young graduate with four other friends; he starts Experts (a market research agency in which he will be the managing shareholder). During 12 years spent at the management of this company, he specialized himself in piloting of projects related to quantitative and qualitative market researches, presentation of researches’ results and drafting of reports and strategic recommendations to customers.
Duties carried out by Serge MUMBU lead him to travel to many countries in the region: Congo, Burundi, Rwanda and Gabon. He also acquired relevant experience in terms of moderation of focus groups, individual interviews and conferences – debates especially within universities (IFASIC, UNIKIN, UCC, UPC, etc…).
Between March 2010 and September 2011, he travelled throughout DR Congo from the North to South, East to West in order to train media professionals on audience researches and market negotiations under the leadership of France Expertise Internationale, a public organization that provides technical support and French expertise abroad.
Current representative of Esomar in DR Congo (world organization of professionals in market research), he joined WIN/Gallup International in the beginning of 2015, one of the biggest organizations of researches’ agencies that mainly aims at ensuring to companies and consumers market researches corresponding with high standards of quality.
