Media Audience in the DRC

Target is set to release the results of its national media audience survey in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This study has become a trusted benchmark for advertisers, media professionals, and marketing and communications specialists over the past decade.

The 2026 edition introduces several innovations and highlights emerging trends driven by digital transformation, particularly the rise of Artificial Intelligence, the essential role of mobile phone usage, and the growing influence of the internet.

More specifically, the study will provide insights into public awareness and perceptions of AI, time spent across different media channels, and mobile phone usage patterns. Fieldwork was conducted from March 16 to 22, and the results are scheduled for release in May.
